Are Stoner air dusters flammable?
No.  All five of our air dusters are made from virtually inert, pure gases which are colorless, odorless, and classified as non-flammable aerosols.
However, our Gust Easy Dusters (item numbers 94203 and 94202) contain Diflouroethane 152A, which can ignite under extreme conditions.  These conditions include a very high concentration of gas in a confined space with a high energy heat source.
Please read our Material Safety Data Sheets and can label for all safety precautions and warnings prior to using these products.
Is XENIT Natural Citrus Cleaner and Remover safe to use on plastic?
XENIT (pronounced zee-nit) is a powerful, all-purpose, citrus-based cleaner and remover.  XENIT Citrus Cleaner can cause hazing or softening of some plastics such as polycarbonate and polystyrene; therefore, caution must be used when applying this product to any plastic surface.
When using XENIT Citrus on plastic surfaces, spray onto a clean cloth and immediately wipe the surface.  As with all Stoner products, we recommend that before using, the product should first be tested for compatibility in a small, inconspicuous, out-of-way area.
Does Stoner Rubber Parts Cleaner (B164) come in an aerosol?
While we do not have an aerosol cleaner with the same name, our XENIT Citrus Cleaner and Remover works great as a rubber cleaner and rejuvenator.  We recommend that, for this application, the product be sprayed on a rag, then wiped onto the rubber surface to be cleaned and rejuvenated.
What is the difference between your Gust Air Dusters?
The main difference between the products is the pressure.  The Premium Air Dusters (product numbers 94151, 94153, and 94201) all use the same gas which yields a 80 psi blast.  The Easy Dusters (product numbers 94203 and 94202) use a different gas which yields a 70 psi blast.
The other difference is the size of the can.  There is a tall and short can with each type of gas.  Many service techs prefer the shorter cans because they fit better in their toolboxes.
Stoner manufactures 3 different types of Air Dusters:
• 80 PSI rating
• Available in 15 & 10 oz cans
• Non-Flammable

The Second type is Gust Easy Duster
• 70 PSI rating
• Available in 12 & 8 oz cans
• As low as $3.50 per can

The Third type is 360° Spray Anyway
• Spray it from any angle --even upside down-- without frosting (expelling contents as liquid)
• 80 PSI rating
• Available in 8 oz cans
How can I keep the can from discharging in my tool kit?
Always replace the cap before transporting the can.  Products with the "Accusol Trigger," such as Stoner easy dusters and contact cleaners, can be locked by placing the extension tube in the slot under the trigger.
Are your contact cleaners plastic safe?
Stoner manufactures 3 different contact and circuit cleaners plus a flux remover which can also be used as a contact cleaner.  Medium Duty Electro Klene is generally recognized as plastic safe and is virtually harmless to solvent sensitive material.  Heavy Duty Electro Klene is the strongest of the 3 cleaners but may harm some plastics or solvent sensitive materials.  Flux Remover may also harm plastics.  Always test for compatibility with plastics before using these products.
